The Mines are the last town feature that is unlocked at level 40.
You can occupy mining locations in the Mines using spirit and soldiers in exchange for silver.
There are four different mining groups based on village level. The first group of mines starts at level 40 and goes to level 50. Group 2 is from levels 51 to 60. Group 3 is levels 61 to 70. And the final group is from level 71 to 90. Shinezone has stated there will be no more new mining locations leading to the last group to be very crowded with players having a large range of viking power. Mines of a higher group give greater silver rewards.
There are 5 different pages of locations. Each page has fourteen (14) mines for a total of seventy (70) mines. You can only see 70 mines at a specific village level, but there are a grand total of 4 * 70 = 280 mines.
There are 5 different kinds of mines: Iron (can't be stolen), Copper, Silver, Gold, Diamond. Higher quality mines gives slightly higher rewards. There are 20 Iron mines, 21 Copper, 16 Silver, 11 Gold, and 2 Diamond mines per location.
Occupations can last for 4 hours max per 10 spirit. At level 40 (when mines are unlocked) you can occupy a single location at a time. At level 71, you can purchase for 800 gold a second slot to occupy two spots at a time. Each spot has independent timers.
Other people can attack your occupations. If they win, they will kick you from your spot. You will get rewards based off of how long you held the spot.
