Deep Sea fishing is a temporary event in Viking Age.
The event is similar to a (weighted) prize wheel where you click and receive a semi random item from the list of prizes.
Requires Village Level 10 to play.
Mechanics[]
You can throw a net anywhere on the fishing map by clicking. Multiple attempts can be done with the hook which will instantly show a single screen with all rewards gained.
You can throw nets 3 times a day for free.
Unused free throws are not saved for the next reset. After reset you will have 3 free daily throws.
You can buy extra throws for 10 gold each.
Every time you throw a net, you will get 1 reward from the list of rewards and 1 Skill.
If you reach a Skill Milestone before the event ends, you can open a chest to get extra rewards.
Left over fishing tries and fishing skill is not carried over the next time this event is held.
If you purchase any duration of the "Buy All" Ancestral Contracts during the event, you will gain 50 fishing tries as a bonus.

Ancestral Contract[]
Players wishing to have more fishing tries and to open more chests should consider using the "Buy All" option on Ancestral Contracts where they will gain an added bonus of 50 fishing tries.
"BUY ALL" costs 680, 1632, or 4896 gold depending on length. 50 fishing tries would cost 500 gold, so the cheapest buy all option could be thought of only costing 180 gold or a 78% discount.
The purchase must be the "BUY ALL" and not the individual bonus such as the 100 gold cost Ancestral Aid for 30 days.
Viking Warrior God Token[]
The Viking Warrior Event asks for 3 God Tokens to be spent. It is possible but uncommon to win a God Token if all free fishing uses are used over the two weeks for this event. Typically the Viking Warrior Event happens after this event.
Bugs[]
When a player wins a fashion item in this event a system message will appear stating that the player won the item from Lucky Divination Cards rather than from fishing.
